Revelation Within On the Go!
Revelation Within equips people with life-giving, grace-infused mind renewal tools to deepen their intimacy with Jesus so that counterfeit comforts (like overeating) lose their allure, and the joy and hope of Jesus fills their lives, satisfying their souls.
In our podcast we talk about mind renewal, tips and tricks for getting and staying free from counterfeit comforts like overeating (over-scrolling, over-drinking, over-anythinging...)
We began as Thin Within in 1975, a pioneer in intuitive, mindful eating back when diets were in their hey day! Thin Within has taught people how to tune in to their body's natural signals of hunger and satisfaction, remaining present with their meals and delighting in tastes and textures--and the Lord!
In the 1980s, Thin Within became a Christian ministry, showing people that the emptiness that they have felt and often filled with food that their bodies don't require, was really placed in there to be filled full with God through Jesus. He wants to set us free from all strongholds!
We rebranded our ministry and our podcast in 2023 to Revelation Within.

December Surrender Day 11: Finding Peace in God's Promises
We have a special December series for you. Each day a short mind renewal meditation will be released, lasting about five minutes. We hope these encourage you to press-in closer to Jesus this year.
Feeling overwhelmed by the holiday rush? In this episode, we invite you to ground yourself in the assurance of God's work as we explore the promises found in Isaiah 26:3, Psalm 42, James 1:17, and Psalm 147:3. Let these verses remind you of God as your peace bringer, rock, gift giver, and healer. Through these reflections, we offer a peaceful moment to focus on the truth of who God is and what He does. Hi and welcome to our podcast, revelation Within On the Go. I'm Heidi Wiles-Meperson, one of your hosts and the owner and lead coach of the RevelationWithinorg ministry, and I'm Christina Motley, your other host, also a Revelation Within coach, and Heidi's partner in all things Revelation Within. We are so excited to invite you to this special episode of Revelation Within On the show. We have a special December series for you. Each day, a short mind renewal meditation will be released, lasting about five minutes. We hope these encourage you to press in closer to Jesus this year. This is Christina Motley and a Mind Renewal audio on Lord. Who Are you? Lord Jesus, I come to you today with a need. I need to feel close to you. I need to know where you are. I need to know what you're busy doing. I want to feel close to you today. There are a lot of things in my life that are causing me to feel uncertain and unsettled, and in this holiday season, there are so many emotions coming up. They are blindsiding me left and right. I never know exactly how I'm going to feel. I thank you, lord, that you are with me, and I thank you, Lord, that I can count on you. But I have a specific need today, and that is to know that you are near and to know that you are busy at work in my life. I want to renew my mind with thoughts that are true of you, of who you are and what you do. I don't want to live in fear. I don't want to be driven by anxious thoughts. I want to live my day in hope and sweet expectation of what you will do for me in whatever circumstance that I am facing. I want to rest in you. I want to fill my mind with thoughts of who you are. Will you help me to get to know you a little bit better today, and will you help me to know that you are near? Isaiah 26.3. So, lord, from this verse I can see that one of the things that you are busy at work doing in my life is bringing peace, and not just any peace, but perfect peace, the peace that comes only from you, the peace that passes all understanding. And, lord, I see that my part of the job is to keep my mind on you and to trust you. Thank you, god, for being my peace bringer. I love that about you.
Speaker 1:Psalm 42. God set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. So now I know, lord, by reading your words, that this is something that you do for me, that you are busy at work. You are steadying me, you are causing me to be secure. You are putting my feet on solid ground. You are my rock. I can count on you. You have steadied me. You will continue to steady me as I walk along and you are walking with me. Thank you, god, for giving me this beautiful assurance for my day.
Speaker 1:James 1.17. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. Lord Jesus, thank you for being my gift giver. Every good and perfect gift is from you. It comes from you without delay. Every single day there are gifts from you. I can know this for sure. And what's even better is that you do not change like shifting shadows. You are always the same. You are always bringing blessings and gifts, even in the midst of difficult days. I can count on you to be at work in my life. Count on you to be at work in my life giving gifts and blessings. Thank you, lord.
Speaker 1:Psalm 147.3. He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. Lord, I love to think about you as my healer. I love to think about how busy you are at work in my life. You are healing my body. You are healing my mind, my thoughts. You are healing me emotionally and spiritually. Lord, I am constantly being healed by you and when my broken heart is hurting, you are there to heal and bandage those wounds. Lord, god, thank you that I can count on you to be healing me Every day. You are healing me. It is who you are. Thank you, god, for that truth.
Speaker 1:And one more Proverbs 3.26. The Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared. Lord, I love this verse. Thank you, god, that I can be confident in you, that you give me your confidence and that you keep my feet from being snared. When I think of my feet being snared, I think of being stuck, not being able to move forward, and that sounds very scary to me and difficult. But, god, because you are with me, my foot will not be snared. You are my confidence, you are my strength. I don't have to figure things out on my own. I don't have to be amazing. Have to be amazing. You are amazing in me. Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. I know that I can count on you to give me whatever I need. Thank you, god for being near to me today. Thank you, god that your presence is real and that you are with me no matter what. Thank you God for who you are. I pray in Jesus' name, amen.
