We began as Thin Within in 1975, a pioneer in intuitive, mindful eating back when diets were in their hey day! Thin Within has taught people how to tune in to their body's natural signals of hunger and satisfaction, remaining present with their meals and delighting in tastes and textures--and the Lord!
In the 1980s, Thin Within became a Christian ministry, showing people that the emptiness that they have felt and often filled with food that their bodies don't require, was really placed in there to be filled full with God through Jesus. He wants to set us free from all strongholds!
We rebranded our ministry and our podcast in 2023 to Revelation Within.

Speaker 1:Hi, I'm Heidi Biles-Maepperson. Today I'm in Ephesians, chapter one again, one of my favorite chapters in the entire Bible and I'm picking up where I left off when I was last in Ephesians one this time, starting in verse 7 of chapter 1, going through verse 10. I'm reading from the Passion Translation Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood, the total cancellation of our sins, all because of the cascading riches of his grace. This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us, releasing within us all forms of wisdom and practical understanding. And through the revelation of the Anointed One, he unveiled his secret desires to us. Of the Anointed One, he unveiled His secret desires to us, the hidden mystery of His long-range plan, which he was delighted to implement from the very beginning of time. And because of God's unfailing purpose, this detailed plan will reign supreme through every period of time until the fulfillment of all the ages finally reaches its climax when God makes all things new in all of heaven and earth through Jesus Christ. Oh Lord, I just have to praise you and thank you for the truths that are shared in this passage. Thank you for the passion translation of the Bible and the way that it kind of gives different shades of meaning to the words that are there. I ask, lord, that you would bless this time of mind renewal right now. In your name. I ask it, jesus, amen.
Speaker 1:So what is true? What is true? So, very often I allow my feelings to be defined by what's going on in my world, what's going on around me, but instead I can look to God's word. It is total truth. It is total, perfect, unadulterated, unembellished truth. Ponder the truth of God's word and I can allow it to inform my feelings, rather than do the kind of the reverse, which is, when my feelings tell me what is true, they lie. Have you ever been feeling so forgotten, so unloved, so miserable, so sad? And if somebody were to ask you in that moment, are you loved by God? You actually would say I don't think so. That isn't true, it's never true. God loves you, has always loved you perfectly, and there is nothing you can do to earn his love or to convince him to love you any more than he already does. And there's nothing you can do to lose that love. But our feelings tell us otherwise. So that is what we want to address. I want to think God's thoughts after him. That is what true mind renewal is.
Speaker 1:So in this passage in the Passion Translation, I am told that I am joined with Christ, that I have been given the treasures of redemption. I am rich, I have been given treasures, I have been redeemed, you have been redeemed, my sins have been canceled, the total cancellation of my sins. Canceled, the total cancellation of my sins. And that his riches of grace to me are cascading, falling into my life, just flooding my life, filling every nook and cranny. That is what is true that his grace is super abundant and is powerfully working in me. His grace is releasing within me all forms of wisdom and practical understanding. Whoa, that's incredible.
Speaker 1:These are God's thoughts toward me. That he has provided this superabundant grace, that he has given me the treasures of redemption. He has canceled my sin. His riches of his grace are cascading into my life. That he has given me a revelation of Jesus. He's unveiled his secret desires to me. He has revealed to me the hidden mystery of his long-range plan, and he has been delighted to do so. Because of his unfailing purpose, his plan, his detailed plan, is going to reign supreme. I love that God is making all things new in all of heaven and earth through Jesus Christ. Wow, of heaven and earth through Jesus Christ, wow.
Speaker 1:Now, these truths, these thoughts that are God's thoughts about me, about my life, about my situation, those are worth letting my feelings change over. Do you see what I mean? I am joined with Christ. I have been given the riches of redemption by his blood. My sins have been canceled. His riches of his grace are cascading in my life. His grace is super abundant and is powerfully at work in me and in you. I don't know. That's really good news to me, you.
