In our podcast we talk about mind renewal, tips and tricks for getting and staying free from counterfeit comforts like overeating (over-scrolling, over-drinking, over-anythinging...)
We began as Thin Within in 1975, a pioneer in intuitive, mindful eating back when diets were in their hey day! Thin Within has taught people how to tune in to their body's natural signals of hunger and satisfaction, remaining present with their meals and delighting in tastes and textures--and the Lord!
In the 1980s, Thin Within became a Christian ministry, showing people that the emptiness that they have felt and often filled with food that their bodies don't require, was really placed in there to be filled full with God through Jesus. He wants to set us free from all strongholds!
We rebranded our ministry and our podcast in 2023 to Revelation Within.

This is Christina Motley and a Mind Renewal audio on my future . Lord , god , sometimes when I look into the future , I feel a lot of fear . I feel uncertain , unsettled . I'm unsure of what's going to happen tomorrow , next week , next month , let alone years from now . Lord , sometimes my future feels impossible with some of the challenges that I am facing , impossible with some of the challenges that I am facing . Lord , I want to face my future with you and I want to renew my mind with thoughts that are yours about my future . What do you say about my future ? What do you say about where my hope is ? Lord , I want to look to you in sweet expectation for a future that is planned by you , for a future that is protected by you , for a future that is put together by you in the most beautiful creative ways . Lord , I know that your love for me is steadfast . Help me to see your truth in these beautiful scriptures that I'm going to read about my future . Help me , lord , to wallpaper my mind with the truth that comes from you , the truth that is everlasting , the truth that does not change , the truth that does not change . I want to depend on you , not on myself , not on my body , not on the world , not on my finances , not on my spouse or my family members or my friends , not on my job . Lord , I want to look to you for hope for my future and I want to walk in peace , knowing that you are at work , preparing a future for me of good things . Proverbs 16 , 3 . Commit to the Lord whatever you do , and your plans will succeed . Lord , what I know for sure is that your will is what I want . I want to commit whatever I do to you , lord , and I want your version of success to be what rules in my life . Lord , I want your will to be done , and so I commit my future to you , joshua , 1.9 . Be strong and courageous , do not be afraid or discouraged , for the Lord , your God , is with you wherever you go . Thank you , god , for these beautiful words of hope . You tell me to be strong and to have courage , not to be afraid , not to be discouraged , because I know I can walk with assurance that in my future you will be there . You are already there . You will be with me now . You will be with me then . You are planning , you are planning , you are preparing , and I can be strong and brave as I walk into my future with you .
Speaker 1Jeremiah 29 11 . I know the plans I have for you , declares the Lord . Plans for welfare and not for evil , to give you a future and a hope . There it is , lord , that beautiful truth . I don't have to fear , I don't have to live with anxious thoughts spinning in my mind all the time . I can walk forward knowing that you are the one in charge of the plans for my future , that you have prepared a way that you will make my path straight , and that you have plans for welfare , for good things , not for evil . I can trust you , lord , with my future , even if it looks impossible or unknown or uncertain , I can look to you with hope . Unknown or uncertain , I can look to you with hope .
Speaker 1Psalm 33 11 . The Lord's plans stand firm forever . His intentions can never be shaken . Lord , I love this verse because what I know about you is that you are good , I know that you are strong , I know that you are mighty and I know that you love me . And so , god , I can depend on your plans standing firm forever , your plans , your intentions never being shaken , and that your intentions are good because you are good . I can count on you as I look into my future . Thank you , jesus , and one more Matthew 634 .
Speaker 1Do not worry about tomorrow , for tomorrow will worry about itself . Lord , god , when I look at this verse and I think of all the worries that I have , all the uncertainties , all the ways that I am unsettled , I can lay these before you and you say don't worry . Don't worry about tomorrow , tomorrow will worry about itself . God , you are the God of my future , you are the God of tomorrow and next week , and next month and next year . I can depend on you , I can wait on you , I can rest , knowing that you have my future . You will take care of everything , you will take care of every detail . I can trust you . I can count on you . I can rest in your promises for a future of good things . Thank you so much , god , for your goodness and for your truth . I love you , lord . I pray in Jesus' name , amen .
