Revelation Within On the Go!
Revelation Within equips people with life-giving, grace-infused mind renewal tools to deepen their intimacy with Jesus so that counterfeit comforts (like overeating) lose their allure, and the joy and hope of Jesus fills their lives, satisfying their souls.
In our podcast we talk about mind renewal, tips and tricks for getting and staying free from counterfeit comforts like overeating (over-scrolling, over-drinking, over-anythinging...)
We began as Thin Within in 1975, a pioneer in intuitive, mindful eating back when diets were in their hey day! Thin Within has taught people how to tune in to their body's natural signals of hunger and satisfaction, remaining present with their meals and delighting in tastes and textures--and the Lord!
In the 1980s, Thin Within became a Christian ministry, showing people that the emptiness that they have felt and often filled with food that their bodies don't require, was really placed in there to be filled full with God through Jesus. He wants to set us free from all strongholds!
We rebranded our ministry and our podcast in 2023 to Revelation Within.

Hi and welcome to our podcast, revelation Within On the Go. I'm Heidi Wiles-Meperson, one of your hosts and the owner and lead coach of the RevelationWithinorg ministry, and I'm Christina Motley, your other host, also a Revelation Within coach and Heidi's partner in all things Revelation Within. We are so excited to invite you to this special episode of Revelation Within On the show. We have a special December series for you. Each day, a short mind renewal meditation will be released lasting about five minutes. We hope these encourage you to press in closer to Jesus this year. This is Christina Motley and a Mind Renewal audio on protection. Lord, god, I am coming to you today because I am feeling out of sorts. I'm feeling unsettled and insecure. I watch the news, I look at the newspapers, I see what's happening, even down the street. I see what's going on in my family, in the relationships that I see around me, at my work, around me at my work, lord, I sense that I need protection. I need protection physically, I need protection emotionally and I need protection spiritually. Sometimes I'm just not even sure where to turn. It seems like I am being shaken day by day by what comes my way. Lord, I want to be thinking your thoughts after you. I don't want to be living in fear. I want to walk closely with you, lord, knowing that my hand is in yours, knowing that you are upholding me, knowing that you are bigger and stronger than any challenge or any fear, any difficulty that is coming my way or that I'm dealing with right now. Lord, god, I am looking to you for what is true. I am looking to you for your protection. Psalm 37, 24. Though you may stumble, you will not fall, for the Lord upholds you with his hand. Lord, I love this verse. When I read it, I think of one of the pastors at my church. He has four little girls, and the youngest one reminds me of me. She always has pigtails in her hair, she's often mischievous, full of energy running around. She reminds me of me when I was a little girl, and she is often in trouble, and that reminds me of me too, lord. But then when I see that her dad scoops her up when she's upset, when she's crying, when she feels insecure or unsettled, her dad one of the pastors at our church he scoops her up and holds her so gently and so tenderly in his arms and I think about you, lord, and I think that's how you see me, I am your girl. I will stumble, I will trip and fall. I will even be mischievous, lord, but you will always be ready to scoop me up, protecting me, loving me, caring for me. You would do anything for me. Lord, I don't have to worry. You are my protection.
Speaker 1:Isaiah 40, 11. He tends his flock like a shepherd. He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart. This is such a beautiful scripture, lord. It's so personal. Do you really gather me up and carry me in your arms, close to your heart? That is such a beautiful picture. I'm so grateful, lord, for your protection. I want so much to live in a way that shows that I know that you're protecting me. Thank you, god, for being my shepherd, thank you for carrying me close to your heart.
Speaker 1:And Psalm 121, verses 7 and 8. The Lord will keep you from all harm. He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore. Lord, this is beautiful truth. This is what I want to think of when I am feeling unsettled, when I'm feeling unsure or unsafe. I want to dwell on the truth that you are keeping me from all harm, that you are watching over me and my family, that you see when I come and go. There is nothing about my life that you don't know, nothing about my life that you don't know. Lord, you are protecting me, you are watching over me. I have nothing to fear. Help me to remember, lord, that I can count on you, that you are my rock, that you are my stability. Help me, lord, to feel safe and secure in your arms, no matter what comes in each day. Thank you, god for your love. Thank you, god for your grace and your goodness. Thank you, god, for your protection. I know I can count on you. In Jesus' name, I pray Amen.
