Revelation Within On the Go!
Revelation Within equips people with life-giving, grace-infused mind renewal tools to deepen their intimacy with Jesus so that counterfeit comforts (like overeating) lose their allure, and the joy and hope of Jesus fills their lives, satisfying their souls.
In our podcast we talk about mind renewal, tips and tricks for getting and staying free from counterfeit comforts like overeating (over-scrolling, over-drinking, over-anythinging...)
We began as Thin Within in 1975, a pioneer in intuitive, mindful eating back when diets were in their hey day! Thin Within has taught people how to tune in to their body's natural signals of hunger and satisfaction, remaining present with their meals and delighting in tastes and textures--and the Lord!
In the 1980s, Thin Within became a Christian ministry, showing people that the emptiness that they have felt and often filled with food that their bodies don't require, was really placed in there to be filled full with God through Jesus. He wants to set us free from all strongholds!
We rebranded our ministry and our podcast in 2023 to Revelation Within.

Revelation Within On the Go!
December Surrender Day 17: Fearfully & Wonderfully Made part 1
We have a special December series for you. Each day a short mind renewal meditation will be released, lasting about five minutes. We hope these encourage you to press-in closer to Jesus this year.
What if we could completely transform our perception of our bodies through the lens of God's love? As the holiday season unfolds, it's easy to get caught up in self-doubt and insecurities. We're here to help you re-frame those thoughts, leading you towards a space where gratitude and acceptance reign. Drawing inspiration from Psalm 139, we celebrate the truth that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made, inviting you to experience a shift from self-criticism to a celebration of God's intricate design.

Hi and welcome to our podcast, revelation Within On the Go. I'm Heidi Wiles-Meperson, one of your hosts and the owner and lead coach of the RevelationWithinorg ministry.
Speaker 2:And I'm Christina Motley, your other host, also a Revelation Within coach and Heidi's partner in all things Revelation Within. We are so excited to invite you to this special episode of Revelation Within. On the show, we have a special December series for you. Each day, a short mind renewal meditation will be released, lasting about five minutes. We hope these encourage you to press in closer to Jesus this year. This is Christina and Heidi and a Mind Renewal audio on God's thoughts on my body.
Speaker 2:Lord Jesus, we come to you now because this is a time of year when so many people, including us, struggle with being comfortable in our own skin. Lord, you know that I struggle with what to wear and how I look. What am I going to wear when I see those people, lord, that I haven't seen in so long? Maybe it's family or friends. Maybe I'm heavier this year or I look different for some reason. Lord, I want my thoughts to be focused on you. I want my eyes and my heart to be fixed on you, not on myself. Lord, help me not to compare. Help me to turn to your truth, to see what is true from your perspective about my body. Lord, we turn to you today for your truth so that we can fill our minds with what is good and real, and pure and noble. We love you, lord.
Speaker 1:Yes, lord, I want to ask that you would just help me to take the focus off of me, my size, my food, my eating, my weight, all of those things that tend to put my mind in turmoil. Lord, instead, I want to focus on your beauty, on your presence, on your power and even on your provision. Lord, power and even on your provision. Lord, during this time of year, so many have so much less than I do. God, for me to be self-absorbed about my body and my size, and how do I look, and all of those things, seems to just be so wrong. Lord, I want instead to exalt you, to praise you, to just dwell in an awareness of you walking with me through this season. To any event, to whatever I'm doing, you are there with me. It is not about my body. My body is something you've entrusted to me and it is a wonderful vessel, fearfully and wonderfully made. God, I want to exalt you this holiday season.
Speaker 2:Psalm 139. Lord God, investigate my life, search me, get all the facts firsthand.
Speaker 1:I am an open book to you, even from a distance. You know what I'm thinking.
Speaker 2:Lord, you know when I leave and when I get back there's nowhere I could go that you are not with me. I am never out of your sight.
Speaker 1:You know everything I'm going to say before I start the first sentence and you know the thoughts that I have, and whether they are thoughts that honor and exalt you or that serve other people.
Speaker 2:Lord, I look behind me and you're there. Then up ahead, and you're there too. Your presence is so reassuring to me, lord. I love that you are constantly close. You know where I am coming and going.
Speaker 1:Oh Lord, this knowledge. It's just too much, too wonderful. We have a hard time taking it all in. It is too magnificent for us. Thank you, dear God, that we don't have to be absorbed with thoughts of ourselves. We can be swept up in the glory of your majesty. Thank you, lord.
Speaker 2:Lord, we are so grateful for your presence with us in this holiday season. Thank you, god, that we can count on you to be right there. When we say Lord, you say yes, you're there with us constantly. Your presence is constant. We love you, lord. We look to you for all that we need. In jesus name, amen.
