Revelation Within On the Go!
Revelation Within equips people with life-giving, grace-infused mind renewal tools to deepen their intimacy with Jesus so that counterfeit comforts (like overeating) lose their allure, and the joy and hope of Jesus fills their lives, satisfying their souls.
In our podcast we talk about mind renewal, tips and tricks for getting and staying free from counterfeit comforts like overeating (over-scrolling, over-drinking, over-anythinging...)
We began as Thin Within in 1975, a pioneer in intuitive, mindful eating back when diets were in their hey day! Thin Within has taught people how to tune in to their body's natural signals of hunger and satisfaction, remaining present with their meals and delighting in tastes and textures--and the Lord!
In the 1980s, Thin Within became a Christian ministry, showing people that the emptiness that they have felt and often filled with food that their bodies don't require, was really placed in there to be filled full with God through Jesus. He wants to set us free from all strongholds!
We rebranded our ministry and our podcast in 2023 to Revelation Within.

Revelation Within On the Go!
December Surrender Day 20: Nourished by His Word and Presence
We have a special December series for you. Each day a short mind renewal meditation will be released, lasting about five minutes. We hope these encourage you to press-in closer to Jesus this year.
Is your heart yearning for something deeper this holiday season? In today's episode, we share soulful reflections and heartfelt prayers that focus on surrendering to Christ and embracing spiritual nourishment. We explore the metaphor of a nursing infant's powerful craving for sustenance as a representation of our desire for God's word—inviting you to shift your focus from worldly distractions to a life anchored in His peace and truth. Let this meditation be a gentle reminder to fix your gaze on the everlasting joy found in Christ, nourishing your spirit with His word and presence.

Hi and welcome to our podcast, Revelation Within On the Go. I'm Heidi Wiles-Meperson, one of your hosts and the owner and lead coach of the RevelationWithinorg ministry, and I'm Christina.
Speaker 2:Motley, your other host, also a Revelation Within coach and Heidi's partner in all things Revelation Within. We are so excited to invite you to this special episode of Revelation Within.
Speaker 1:On the show.
Speaker 2:We have a special December series for you. Each day, a short mind renewal meditation will be released, lasting about five minutes. We hope these encourage you to press in closer to Jesus this year.
Speaker 1:Hi, this is Heidi and Christina, with a mind renewal on longing for things that are of the Lord and surrendering things that are not. Oh God, I know there are so many things in this life that I cling to, that I grasp a hold of so tightly. Lord, I want to walk through this life with open hands, surrendered, truly surrendered, not just during December, when there's a December surrender, but each day, each moment, each year. Lord, I want to walk with freedom, not chained to anything that is not from you, and I want to cling tightly to you, you alone. I want you to be my master, to have mastery over me, to have ownership of me, and I want to let go of everything else.
Speaker 2:Lord Jesus, I'm finding myself so distracted this holiday season. I turn to this, I turn to that, I'm looking here, I'm looking there, but nothing satisfies. Lord, I want to go deep with you. I want what satisfies, I want the peace that only you can give me.
Speaker 2:Lord, I want to reach for what is yours, your thoughts, your truth, your goodness. In my life, I want to walk through my days with gratitude and praise, fixing my eyes on you, not on the things of this world. Lord, help me to focus, help me to see you, help me to see your fingerprints of goodness all over my life. I want to see you this holiday season. Lord, I want to be focused on you, not on this world.
Speaker 1:We're in 1 Peter, chapter 2, verse 2 and 3. In the same way that nursing infants cry for milk, you must intensely crave the pure spiritual milk of God's word. Oh God, when I think of the way my nursing babies, years and years ago, would cry when they were hungry and then be so satisfied when I cuddled them up and fed them, lord, I want that same longing, that intense craving for you, the pure spiritual milk of your word, lord, of you meeting me in the pages of your word, of your word, coming home to my heart, nesting there, impacting all the lies that I believe and shining your beautiful truth onto them. Oh God, I want to be like a crying infant who can't get enough of you, knowing that only you can satisfy that longing in me For this milk will cause you to grow into maturity, fully nourished and strong for life.
Speaker 2:Lord, this is what I want this holiday season. I have spent too many holidays looking for satisfaction, looking for peace, looking for just the right things, for some kind of perfect holiday. Lord, what I really want, what my soul wants, what my heart is craving, is you, lord. I want to grow. I don't want to be stuck in all the patterns that I've been in in the past, especially with food and eating, but in every area of my life I want to grow into maturity this holiday season. I want to be fully nourished on your word and your truth. I want to look to you for everything that I need and I want to be strong for life, not because I'm strong in myself, but because you are strong in me. Please, lord, help me. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on you.
Speaker 1:Lord, when I think of the many things that I have been longing for. I long for days in the past when everybody would gather around the table, people who have passed on, people who have moved on. Lord, I miss all of that and I long for those things. I long for that big family gathering, the laughter and the songs. Oh, lord, I want to allow your word, your presence, your spirit, to flood my heart, to fill my soul, to satisfy me completely.
Speaker 1:Lord, I have tasted your goodness.
Speaker 1:I thank you for that, and I know that it's just a tidbit of the feast that you offer and the feast that is to come.
Speaker 1:That, goodness of the Lord, jehovah, lord, you have granted that I could experience your kindness, and your kindness, lord, it says in your word, leads me to repentance. God, I repent of craving anything that is outside of your will and your plan for me. I repent of craving foods holiday foods or otherwise, lord that don't satisfy, that are outside, again, outside your plan for me, because I'm not hungry or because I'm looking to those foods or those people or those situations or that crowd around the table to give me peace and happiness that you intend I find only in you. Lord, I thank you that you've given me a taste of the bounty that is you, and that you've granted that I could experience your kindness, lord, this holiday season. I want to surrender anything that I crave, those good gifts that you've given and taken away, or things that have not been given that I long for anyway. I want to surrender all of it and allow myself to truly be satisfied in you, lord Jesus, be the one who satisfies us.
Speaker 2:Be the one who comes to us in our need. Lord, whatever we are feeling this holiday season, whatever we are dealing with, whatever we are struggling with, whatever is causing us to turn to other things food, eating, other things, lord, whatever that is, may you be enough for us. May you be our strength, may you be our satisfaction, and may we grow, may we mature as we turn to you. May we walk in peace, knowing that you have us. You have our families. You have our loved ones. You have our worries. You have our families. You have our loved ones. You have our worries, our anxious thoughts, our difficult situations, our challenges. Lord, you have us. We love walking with you. Lord, thank you for your goodness, thank you for your provision. Thank you, lord, for all that you will do this holiday season.
