Revelation Within On the Go!
Revelation Within equips people with life-giving, grace-infused mind renewal tools to deepen their intimacy with Jesus so that counterfeit comforts (like overeating) lose their allure, and the joy and hope of Jesus fills their lives, satisfying their souls.
In our podcast we talk about mind renewal, tips and tricks for getting and staying free from counterfeit comforts like overeating (over-scrolling, over-drinking, over-anythinging...)
We began as Thin Within in 1975, a pioneer in intuitive, mindful eating back when diets were in their hey day! Thin Within has taught people how to tune in to their body's natural signals of hunger and satisfaction, remaining present with their meals and delighting in tastes and textures--and the Lord!
In the 1980s, Thin Within became a Christian ministry, showing people that the emptiness that they have felt and often filled with food that their bodies don't require, was really placed in there to be filled full with God through Jesus. He wants to set us free from all strongholds!
We rebranded our ministry and our podcast in 2023 to Revelation Within.

Hi and welcome to our podcast, Revelation Within On the Go. I'm Heidi Wiles-Meperson, one of your hosts and the owner and lead coach of the RevelationWithinorg ministry, and I'm Christina.
Speaker 2:Motley, your other host, also a Revelation Within coach and Heidi's partner in all things Revelation Within. We are so excited to invite you to this special episode of Revelation Within On the show. We have a special December series for you. Each day, a short mind renewal meditation will be released, lasting about five minutes. We hope these encourage you to press in closer to Jesus. This year. This is Christina and Heidi and a Mind Renewal audio on when is my Joy, lord, jesus, we are looking to you for our joy during this time, during this season, now that Christmas is over, now that we're beginning a new year, lord, we want you to be our joy.
Speaker 2:You say that your joy is our strength. What does that mean, lord? What does that even mean? Does that mean that when I am grieving and sad, that your joy comes in and that you are my strength, that somehow my grieving and you can bring your joy into it and it gives me strength? That is amazing, lord. That is beautiful.
Speaker 2:When I am stressed, when I'm having problems in a difficult relationship, lord, when my health isn't good, I can look to you, not only for what I need physically, emotionally and spiritually, but definitely for joy, joy that is yours, joy that runs deep. Psalm 1611,. Lord Jesus, I look to you to make known to me the path of the abundant life that can only come from you. Each day, you fill me with joy in your relentlessly generous grace and love-filled presence and give me gifts of eternal pleasures that you always have ready to give in your right hand. Lord, I love thinking on that. I want to think on your truth. I want my thoughts to be coming right in after yours, lord. I love thinking that, no matter comes my way today, tomorrow, next week, next month, all year long, your joy will be my strength.
Speaker 2:I look to you for that joy, lord, that gives me so much hope as I begin this new year with you. Thank you, jesus.
Speaker 1:Lord, god, your everlasting truth is my inheritance and precious possession forever. Psalm 119 tells me so. Your words that never change and that fill me with life are the joy of my heart. And that fill me with life are the joy of my heart. I thank you for this truth because, god, am so tempted to look all kinds of places for joy, but it is your everlasting truth, my inheritance, my possession forever that supplies me with joy deep in my heart and gives me true life. Lord, you've said that in you my joy will be full, that your joy is in me. Thank you for that truth as well. I need not look anywhere but you for joy.
Speaker 2:Lord Jesus, we read in Psalm 19.8,. Your beautiful, forever truths are right, giving joy to my heart each time I soak in them. Your timeless wisdom is radiant, so bright and lovely that I can barely fathom it. It gives light to my weary and tired eyes. Lord, I love this truth. Eyes, lord, I love this truth.
Speaker 2:Thank you, god, that I can expect to have a life of joy, no matter what comes my way, no matter how difficult this year is or no matter how much peace you give me in certain seasons. Whatever is to come, I can count on your joy being a part of it, and I love that, lord. That is a beautiful truth, a hope-filled truth. Lord, you will bring joy in my weariness. You will bring joy when I stumble and trip. When I fall, you will bring joy. You will bring joy when I'm disappointed. God, somehow, in your marvelous ways, in your wisdom, you will bring joy throughout this new year with you. I count on you for it, lord, I depend on you for joy and thank you God again for the hope that that brings me.
Speaker 1:Lord God, romans 12, 12 tells me that I can be joyful in hope, as I hope in you alone. You are the only one who can do all things. I can be patient because of you when life feels impossible, when life is upside down and painful, and I can be faithful as I turn to you again and again for all that I need, moment by moment. Lord, I'm so grateful that it's not up to me. You have given me everything I need for life and godliness, and in my weakness your strength is made perfect. I will boast all the more gladly in my weakness, because when I am weak, then I'm strong in you, lord. That is cause for joy. Thank you, lord, for these reasons that my heart can rejoice.
Speaker 2:Thessalonians 5, 16 through 18. Lord Jesus, help me to rejoice always as I come humbly before you, singing your praises and giving you all of the glory for every good thing in my life. Help me, lord, to keep an open-ended, honest conversation, going with you all day long, giving thanks in all circumstances, including all the ups and downs of real life, knowing, lord, that this is your perfect will for my life in Christ Jesus. Lord, what I know is true is that when I spend time praising you, when I spend time thinking about who you are, humbly thanking you, lord, you bring me joy, and I know also that I'm bringing you joy when I do this as well, and I love thinking of that. Lord, help me to seek joy this year in you. Help me to run after it. Lord, you have it ready for us. Help me to remember to seek after it and thank you God again for offering it so generously to us.
Speaker 1:Lord I love. Nehemiah 8.10. That says your joy is my strength. I look to you today for your joy in my life. Thank you, jesus. It's in your name I pray.
Speaker 2:Amen.
