In our podcast we talk about mind renewal, tips and tricks for getting and staying free from counterfeit comforts like overeating (over-scrolling, over-drinking, over-anythinging...)
We began as Thin Within in 1975, a pioneer in intuitive, mindful eating back when diets were in their hey day! Thin Within has taught people how to tune in to their body's natural signals of hunger and satisfaction, remaining present with their meals and delighting in tastes and textures--and the Lord!
In the 1980s, Thin Within became a Christian ministry, showing people that the emptiness that they have felt and often filled with food that their bodies don't require, was really placed in there to be filled full with God through Jesus. He wants to set us free from all strongholds!
We rebranded our ministry and our podcast in 2023 to Revelation Within.

Speaker 1:Hi, this is Heidi and Christina with a mind renewal meditation on our identity in Christ. Lord. God, I am so grateful that you have said so many things are true of me in your word. Sometimes I allow other things to define me and you want me to open my eyes to what's in your word, to what you say is true. Oh God, I say I believe in you, but do I believe what you say as well? Lord God, you have said that I am your precious possession, that I am your child, I am your workmanship. God, I love that phrase, phrase that I am your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, for good works which you've planned in advance for me to do. I know that that word workmanship in the Greek means poetry in motion and I love that. Lord, you have said I am your poetry in motion. Thank you. I am not my size, I am not my illness, I am not my struggles, I am all kinds of wonderful things you have said about me in your word.
Speaker 2:Lord Jesus, thank you so much that you call me your friend. That's amazing, lord, that just blows me away, that the God of the universe would call me his friend. Thank you, god, that you are my friend. Thank you, god, that I am your temple, the temple of your Holy Spirit. I thank you that you can use me and that you live inside of me.
Speaker 1:Thank you, God, that I am your instrument and you use me to make music in this world. Thank you, God, that I am chosen. I am your beloved and I am your precious jewel.
Speaker 2:Thank you, God, that I have been redeemed by your blood. Thank you, God, that I have been set free from sin and condemnation.
Speaker 1:Thank you, God, that I am set free from the enemy's control and thank you, Lord, that I have been chosen before the foundation of the world and you call me holy and blameless in your sight. God, thank you that I am predestined to be like Jesus and, oh God, I'm so grateful that you have forgiven me all my sin.
Speaker 2:Lord Jesus, thank you. Thank you for washing me in the blood of the lamb. Jesus, thank you. Thank you for washing me in the blood of the Lamb. Thank you, God, for giving me a sound mind and the Holy Spirit to guide me, to direct me, to counsel me 24-7. Lord, thank you for thinking of everything that we would need.
Speaker 1:And, oh, I am so grateful that I've been adopted into your family and justified freely by your grace, lord, you've given me everything I need for life and godliness, and you've given me great and precious promises. Thank you.
Speaker 2:Lord Jesus, thank you that you have given me the ministry of reconciliation, authority over the power of the enemy, access to you. Thank you, God, that you give me your wisdom so that I can live and breathe what is true.
Speaker 1:And thank you, god, that I am complete in you, I am free forever from sin's power and I am sanctified.
Speaker 2:Lord, thank you so much that I am loved eternally. God, thank you that I am eternally in the palm of your hand, that I am kept from falling and kept by the power of God. Lord, you have me, you protect me, you keep me. I am yours. Thank you, jesus.
Speaker 1:And I am so grateful that I am not condemned, that I am on my way to heaven, quickened by your mighty power, Lord. You have seated me in the heavenly places in Christ. I am a citizen of heaven and I am hidden with Christ in God.
Speaker 2:Lord Jesus, thank you so much for the truth that I am set on a rock, that I am more than a conqueror, that I am born again and I am a victor, all because of you, Lord.
Speaker 1:Lord, god, I am so grateful that I have access to you and that I have a home in heaven waiting for me. I have all things in Christ, every spiritual blessing. Thank you that I have a living hope.
Speaker 2:Thank you, Jesus, that I have the mind of Christ and peace with you.
Speaker 1:Lord, I can do all things through you, all things, including not stumble into temptation. I can turn to you in those moments and experience what I need. I can do all things, including resist, and I can find mercy and grace to help me in my time of need and I can come boldly to your throne of grace.
Speaker 2:Lord Jesus, thank you that I can overcome the enemy and that I can tread the enemy under my feet.
Speaker 1:I am so grateful for all these truths and that, as I remind myself of these truths, it affects me, it changes me, it changes the way I think of myself. There is nothing that I could do to be separated from your love, o God. There is nothing that I could do to be separated from your love, oh God. There is nothing that could possibly happen that could take me out of your hand. Oh God, thank you for these amazing, majestic, marvelous truths. Let them totally saturate my thinking today that I might go through this day firmly steadfast in what you have said is true about me, because of you, and it's in Jesus' name I pray Amen, amen.
