Speaker 2:

Personalized Lord Jesus, you are my perfect friend, my loving counselor, my gentle guide and the one who knows and accepts me just the way I am. Because of your goodness and your love for me, not one need that I have will ever go unnoticed or unanswered. You will care for me and provide for me always, in every way that I need. Lord, I pray that you would soak me in this truth today. You really are my rest. You are my hiding place, you are my protection. You cover me with your wings. Lord, I want to rest even in the midst of my busyness. I want to rest in you today. Thank you, jesus.

Speaker 1:

Lord, god, you lead me to a place of spiritual, physical and emotional rest. You fill my soul, my mind and my heart with beautiful things. Your gifts and blessings are unending. You lift my head, hold me close to your own heart, hold me by my right hand and shelter me with your everlasting arms. You restore me, transform me and refresh me. You bring me peace. I trust you completely. Oh Lord, I just imagine your strong arms wrapped around me, holding me close, delighting in me, singing over me and comforting me. Thank you so much for this place of rest found in you.

Speaker 2:

Jesus, gently, patiently, in your name and with so much love, you lead me on paths that are good and right and beautiful in my life. You carry me through the dark, confusing, frightening valleys. Because you are with me, I will not fear what is to come. Your presence comforts me in the most deep, lovely and peaceful ways. Oh Lord, I love walking with you. Thank you, jesus, that we are together. We are in this together. I am not alone. I am never alone, and thank you, god, that I don't have to depend on myself. I know that I am not enough. I can depend on you because you are enough for me in every way that I can imagine and all the ways I can't imagine. Lord, thank you for your comforting presence. Thank you, god, for walking with me, for carrying me, for leading me. I depend on you, god, for walking with me, for carrying me, for leading me. I depend on you, god, I love you.

Speaker 1:

Even in the midst of the chaos and messiness and challenges of this life, you invite me to walk with you and to sit with you at the table. You provide all that I need and bless me with so much more. Even when there is a valley of the shadow of death, I don't have to fear because you were right there with me, lord. So often things seem difficult, just hard, and I just want to hide under the covers all day. But, lord, you draw me out, you hold me close, you walk with me and press me forward.

Speaker 2:

Lord Jesus, I can be joyfully confident that your goodness and mercy will follow me all the mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights of my life and then, when I finally take my last breath, I will walk with you, Lord, into eternity and live with you in your heavenly house forever. Oh Lord, there is so much hope in your word. There is so much goodness, Lord, that comes from you, in your truth, in your words to me.

Speaker 2:

Lord, help me to rest in you as I walk through this day, this week, this month and beyond. Lord, I trust you. I trust you to do what you do best to take good care of me, to take good care of my family. Lord, we thank you for your grace. We thank you for your goodness and your provision. We are so grateful to be yours, lord, and we pray in Jesus' name, amen, amen.
