Revelation Within On the Go!
Revelation Within equips people with life-giving, grace-infused mind renewal tools to deepen their intimacy with Jesus so that counterfeit comforts (like overeating) lose their allure, and the joy and hope of Jesus fills their lives, satisfying their souls.
In our podcast we talk about mind renewal, tips and tricks for getting and staying free from counterfeit comforts like overeating (over-scrolling, over-drinking, over-anythinging...)
We began as Thin Within in 1975, a pioneer in intuitive, mindful eating back when diets were in their hey day! Thin Within has taught people how to tune in to their body's natural signals of hunger and satisfaction, remaining present with their meals and delighting in tastes and textures--and the Lord!
In the 1980s, Thin Within became a Christian ministry, showing people that the emptiness that they have felt and often filled with food that their bodies don't require, was really placed in there to be filled full with God through Jesus. He wants to set us free from all strongholds!
We rebranded our ministry and our podcast in 2023 to Revelation Within.

December Surrender 31: Courage for the New Year
We have a special December series for you. Each day a short mind renewal meditation will be released, lasting about five minutes. We hope these encourage you to press-in closer to Jesus this year.
Facing the new year with courage can feel daunting, especially after the emotional highs and lows of the holiday season. In this final episode of the year and our December series, we open up about our own struggles with disappointment and fear, and how we've sought strength in Scripture.
Join us as we reflect on the unwavering presence of God, exploring His assurances through heartfelt prayer and scripture. We share our honest conversations with the Lord about the challenges we face and the courage we need to overcome them. Our prayer is that this episode offers you a beacon of hope and a deeper connection with Jesus, empowering you to trust in His plan.

Hi and welcome to our podcast, Revelation Within On the Go. I'm Heidi Wiles-Meperson, one of your hosts and the owner and lead coach of the RevelationWithinorg ministry, and I'm Christina.
Speaker 2:Motley, your other host, also a Revelation Within coach and Heidi's partner in all things Revelation Within. We are so excited to invite you to this special episode of Revelation Within.
Speaker 1:On the show.
Speaker 2:We have a special December series for you. Each day, a short mind renewal meditation will be released, lasting about five minutes. We hope these encourage you to press in closer to Jesus this year. This is Christina and Heidi and a Mind Renewal audio on courage.
Speaker 2:Lord, jesus, we come to you now because we have a need for courage. You know, lord, that lots and lots of emotions came up over Christmas. There was so much to do, there was so much busyness, and you know, lord, that I was disappointed and that I grieved, and that there were some really difficult things that happened even amongst the joys that were there as well. Lord, we need you. We need you in this season after Christmas, as we celebrate the new year, as we begin a new year with you.
Speaker 2:Lord, when I look ahead into my future, I wonder how will I ever get through it. Lord, a lot of things scare me about my future. Lord, we want to lay these things at your feet and we want to think your thoughts after you. When I let my thoughts spin and spin, lord, they just take me down. They take me down into despair and fear and a place that I don't want to be. Lord, I want to be thinking your thoughts. I want to be trusting you. I want to know what you say about courage. Isaiah 41 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Speaker 1:Lord, god, I thank you that your word promises that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. Lord, where I have fear, I just said that before you I surrender that to you. I ask God that you would instead replace it with courage, lord, courage to face, into looking at some of the challenges that I haven't handled well, looking and learning, and courage to go forward, into what's next, into situations where I don't feel confidence, especially after the way that I feel like I've disappointed myself previously. Lord, I just need to know that I can lean into you, and your word certainly tells me that I can. Thank you for Deuteronomy 31.8. That says you, lord, go before me and you are with me. You will never leave me and you will not forsake me. You've encouraged me to not be afraid and to not be discouraged. Thank you, lord. Your words encourage my heart. They do. They instill courage in me.
Speaker 2:Lord Jesus, where are you? Are you close? Are you near? Are you engaged with me, lord? How do I know that you are there? Will you tell me, through your word, where you are? Tell me, lord, that I can hope in you you are. Tell me, lord, that I can hope in you. Tell me, lord, that you have so much more for me that I can't even imagine. Tell me, lord, that you will walk with me this year and that I don't have to live in fear, that I can trust you with my deepest needs and my biggest problems and my most impossible challenges. Help me, lord, to lean into you and rest in your provision, rest in your love, rest in your grace and rest in your strength. Lord, will you be my strength this year? Psalm 27.1. The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? Thank you, god. Thank you for loving me so well. Thank you, god.
Speaker 1:Lord, I thank you that even now, as I've been pouring out my heart to you, I know that you are answering me. Your word says that I sought the Lord and he answered me. He delivered me from all of my fears. Thank you, Lord, for Psalm 34, 4 and its reassurance to me. I'm so grateful.
Speaker 2:Lord. We also read in Philippians 4, 7, the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, lord. That is the peace that we are longing for. We are longing for the peace that passes all understanding and for our hearts to be guarded, our minds to be guarded, our thoughts to be guarded. We look to you for that, lord. And Jeremiah 29, 11, I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and hope. Lord, we love that verse. We look to you for these truths. This is who you are, this is what you do, this is your character and you will not fail. The hope wells up in me because I know that I am not alone. Lord, we trust you. We trust you with this year. We trust you with our future. We trust you, lord. We love you In Jesus' name. We pray, amen, amen.
